Costanza Dress Midnight

Description
Sweet and with a simple and modern design, it covers and reveals. The Costanza dress covers shoulders and arms, emphasizing the back, making it surprisingly elegant and refined. Its long bell sleeves cover half of the back of the hands which, with a slight flare on the hem, resume a harmonious geometry in its complete enunciation. Its length leaves the ankles exposed, thus giving viewers the opportunity to focus on more details. It is fluid and impalpable, elegantly framing the back, embellishing it with the light and graceful Emmy Boo flowers

Inspiration
Costanza d’Altavilla was one of the most important women of the Middle Ages, as well as Queen of Sicily. She was a strong woman who, thanks to her diplomatic skills, managed to unite Sicily at a time when numerous cultures coexisted in it: Latin, Byzantine, Arab and Provençal.
She married Henry IV of Swabia, son of Frederick Barbarossa and heir to the Holy Roman Empire. When her husband died, Constance found herself reigning alone under the regency of her son Federico II, whom she entrusted to the protection of Pope Innocent III. He died four years later, leaving Federico only at the age of 4, but who will become one of the most important kings in the history of Sicily.
